The full National Account dashboard (Phase 1) is the right destination — but it's a multi-month build that touches 8+ BigCommerce APIs. So we're rolling it out in stages, smallest and safest first.
This page is the map for the design review. It shows all five stages with a wireframe of each, and links to the clickable prototypes. The focus is the new in-between step — Phase 0.5 — which gives current National Accounts real personalization using only what BigCommerce B2B Edition already provides, so it can ship long before the bespoke dashboard is built.
Richer personalized welcome — account #, tier, terms, your role (Company + Customer-Group objects)
Approval alert from the native B2B approval workflow
Module launchpad with live counts, each linking to a native module: Orders, Approvals, Quotes, Shopping Lists, Buy Again, Net-30 invoices, Addresses, Users & Roles
Named account manager — one company field (not the full team card)
Recently purchased reorder strip (from order history)
Deliberately still out (→ Phase 1)
Spend snapshot, fleet snapshot, per-site rollups, activity feed, photo team card — all custom builds
Spend anomaly alerts and custom-role permissions UI
Fleet telemetry (Tennant IRIS-style) and schedule-a-call from the team card
Cost
Each is a meaningful engineering investment; several overlap a Catalyst replatform
Re-evaluate after Phase 2 ships, guided by sales signals.
The in-between, in focus: what's possible with zero custom build
Phase 0.5 exists because there's a lot of genuine personalization sitting unused inside BigCommerce B2B Edition. We don't need to build the dashboard to surface it — we just need to give it a branded home.
The dividing line
If BigCommerce already returns it, it's Phase 0.5. If we have to compose or aggregate it, it's Phase 1.
A launchpad card that shows "12 orders" and links to the native Orders module is Phase 0.5. A "spend this month vs. cap" widget that sums orders across sites is Phase 1. Same data source — different amount of glue.
✓ In Phase 0.5 — native, already paid for
Identity & status — name, company, account #, tier, Net terms, your role
Ship Phase 0.5 next. It turns the reskin into a genuinely personalized National Account home in roughly 1–2 weeks, using only modules BigCommerce already provides — no custom dashboard, no aggregation, no new infrastructure. It delivers most of the everyday value (find my orders, approve, reorder, pay, see my team) while the bigger Phase 1 build is scoped and resourced.
Phase 1 stays the destination — the spend, fleet, per-site and account-team work that only a bespoke build can deliver. Phase 0.5 just means National Accounts don't have to wait for it.
